My name is Tara Hanada and once a Paper Rabbit girl, always a Paper Rabbit girl! At nine years old, I knew that someday I would work at the Paper Rabbit Montrose. At thirteen, I won a design contest, and at fifteen, I became a Paper Rabbit employee. I worked at the PRM for nearly 6 years, returning summer and winter breaks during my first couple years at San Diego State University, until I made a permanent move to San Diego.
I graduated from SDSU with a B.A. in journalism with an emphasis in public relations. After graduation, I spent some time working in PR, but found myself in the world of digital advertising at BASK Digital, where I am currently the Senior Digital Advertising Specialist.
My artistic skills were certainly sought out while a collegian in my sorority, Delta Gamma, and I still remain active as an alumna. I am a chapter adviser, sit on a board of directors, and have been involved in Delta Gamma shirt and graphic design since my freshman year.
When graphic design isn’t enough of a creative outlet, I also love working on my other art projects including: Painting, creating paper flowers, hammered metal jewelry, and more.
